TOKYO, Japan, Jan 24, 2008 - Cadalog, Inc. announced today that it released a free beta version of the IFC2SKP plug-in for Google SketchUp 6. The IFC2SKP plug-in works inside SketchUp 6 and will directly import IFC formatted models into SketchUp. The IFC format is a neutral data and geometry format for CAD or BIM software programs. It is widely used in 3D Architectural CAD or BIM programs such as Revit, ArchiCAD, VectorWorks, MicroStation and Autodesk Architectural.
