Joomla vs Sharepoint Server 2007

We use Joomla as a Content Mangagement System and we are waiting for Microsoft to launch SharePoint Server 2007 to  helps us  manage our teams and projects.  As far as I can tell SPS will be available in January 2007.  Looks like we are 1/2 open source and 1/2 Microsoft.  We also paid and used jotspot. It is now free since google bought them out.  We use sketchup before google bought them and  we used jotspot before google bought them.  Will joomla be next? I don't thing so but our track record of going with google buy outs  does prove that we are up on the latest technologies.

Joomla is a content management sytem that we are about to deployed as an intranet to keep track of projects etc . Well we are also trying Jotspot and Sharepoint server. Once we try Sharepoint 2007  in October we will make our final decision in November or December. Stay tuned for the results of our search for the best tool for content collaboration, project and team managemnt.
