It is just a dream now but we want to hold a writers workshop in Shillong next year (May)  Perhaps we could combine it with a Symposium on the Future of Work and even launch a collaborative book. Are you interested?

Collaborative Tools for Writing

I am researching tools for writing  collaborative books. So far I have found nextaris.com and  drupal. There must be lots more so I will post them as I find them. 

The process varies  some tools may work better with some processes. For example a wiki would not work well where version control is important.

The Next Net

I am reading business2 to keep up with  trends and discovered  this:

This is what we are doing with our Social Entrepreneurship book. Our team is now ten.

Several people have volunteered to help me write a book on Social Entrepreneurship in

India

. We need a few more volunteers. This will be an experiment in writing a book as a group. You will get credit for the book but no money.

Please write a comment to this blog if you are interested and explain why you want to be part of this project. I will get back to you and explain more details and you can decide.  Once we have 5 good volunteers we can get starting.
